Jacobs has an opportunity for an experienced **Civil Drafting Lead and CAD Manager **to join the **Civil and Aviation** team in the Brisbane office working on various projects, predominately in the Transport and Defence Sector. The role will work closely with discipline leads, engineers and designers adopting workflows and practices to work collaboratively with other disciplines, taking responsibility for developing design deliverables to agreed quality, time and budget, working independently or leading a drafting team on larger projects. You will define CAD standards and procedures for projects and manage production of drawing deliverables including management of systems for monitoring and reporting of drafting progress. You will be auditing and managing CAD reference files along with reviewing and checking of drafting deliverables. An objective will be to train and develop teams to become proficient in the standards and digital requirements for delivering projects for Queensland Transport clients. Part of your role will be undertaking resource management of the Transport Northern drafters within the Civil and Aviation and Highways section. You will work with the Transport Northern leadership team inclusive of the Director of Operations, Section Leaders, ANZ 12d Technical lead and the ANZ digital delivery Technical Director in managing the drafting cohort project resourcing and delivery. #ANZTransport #APMETransport #LI-DG1 **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - Demonstrated understanding of the design process, co-ordination of work with other design disciplines and the efficient management and delivery of drawing deliverables - AutoCAD skills with a strong knowledge of CAD\BIM workflows - Experience in the use of ProjectWise for drawing management - Work co-operatively and respect others’ opinions to achieve team objectives - Sound planning and organising skills along with interpersonal skills; ability to handle complaints and promote resolution - Ability to perform steadily during peak workload and remain calm under pressure. **Jacobs.
