**Location: Dandenong VIC**

Vertikote is recognised as one of Australia's leading and most accredited applicators of powder coatings servicing the architectural, construction, engineering, industrial and residential sectors.

We are looking for an experienced **Production & Internal Sales Officer**with a strong understanding of factory / manufacturing administration and ability to handle sales enquiries to join our support services team based at our **Dandenong VIC**facility.

This is a **HANDS ON** role where you will provide frontline technical and administration services to our factory production teams and liaise regularly with our customers. You should have relevant experience working in a production and/or sales office environment. Key aspects of this role include working closely with the factory team as work comes in for processing, keep customers updated on their jobs to ensure key administrative functions are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
Working closely with members of the Operations Team the main responsibilities of this position include:

- tracking of incoming goods, work in progress and other production records
- prompt response to sales enquiries and customer walk ins
- data entry processing into a customised production system
- generating & monitoring production schedules and completion targets
- creating delivery dockets & invoices from completed work
- communicate regularly with customers and suppliers
- production reporting, maintaining stock records and updating warranty systems
- quality assurance monitoring & reporting
- general administration work

**Qualifications and Skills**

The person we seek must have:

- experience working in a busy production / factory environment
- technical aptitude with a proven customer service focus
- proven Data Entry & MS Office (Word, Excel) competency skills
- a high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
- excellent communication skills - written and verbal English
- ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- enthusiastic work ethic and be a reliable and dependable person
- a confident and professional demeanour in all situations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- production/ manufacturing administration: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (required)
