**Account Manager - Local Community Insurance Services (LCIS)**

A unique, newly-created opportunity has become available within Local Community Insurance Services (LCIS), which is a division of JLT Risk Solutions.

LCIS acts as an agent for a Global Insurance firm, and a principal responsibility of the role will be to seek alternate markets for clients that require products that may fall outside of the LCIS delegated underwriting authority. You will also be responsible for a portfolio of existing clients to provide insurance broking services, managing and growing the business through identifying new business opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have broking experience and a strong working knowledge of underwriting to provide high quality service and be client focused.

**We will count on you to**:

- Work closely with the LCIS Divisional Manager to identify alternate markets and solutions for existing and new clients with requirements that fall outside of the LCIS DUA
- Assist the LCIS Divisional Manager with identifying opportunities for improvements in systems, processes and templates utilised by the LCIS team to improve efficiency and compliance
- Manage and service a portfolio of existing clients
- Provide a high standard of service and advice to our clients
- Arrange quotations, new business, endorsements and renewals for all classes of General Insurance
- Prepare reports
- Develop strategies and plans to grow the business
- Maintain and build strong relationships with clients and insurers

**What you need to have**:

- Proven experience in insurance broking, with either Underwriting experience or a strong working knowledge of Underwriting
- Tier 1 Qualification (essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to show initiative
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively without supervision
- Client orientated with a genuine desire to support clients
- Enjoy being part of a team and contributing to a positive culture
