Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Officer will play an integral part in the ability for the Finance Team to operate at its most effective. A key part of the role will be ensuring day to day operations are completed efficiently, enabling the wider parts of the Finance function to operate.

**A day on the job will see you**:
- Process fortnightly payroll
- Setting up new starters, maintaining accurate employee records and terminations
- Responding to employee enquiries regarding accounts payable and payroll
- Process supplier invoices, reconcile monthly statements and liaise with suppliers
- Prepare weekly accounts payable cycles ready for payment
- Prepare customer invoices and follow up overdue accounts
- Create new suppliers in Xero
- Complete daily receipting for bank accounts
- Ensure spending is in line with Company Policies
- Manage Company Debit Cards in line with Company Policy
- Manage reconciliations between Xero and the expense management software attached to Company debit cards
**To impress us you’ll need**
- Good knowledge with Xero and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, systems and processes
- A proactive approach and ability to problem solve and use your own initiative
- A high level of organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service and satisfaction
- Can-do, hands-on mindset with the ability to work autonomously as required
- Desire to be a part of/and appreciation for the challenges and rewards of working in a growing business
