**The Company**
We’ve partnered with a mid-sized, client focussed insurance broking house on the Gold Coast. They specialise in providing out-of-the-box insurance solutions to an enviable client base consisting of corporate and complex SME clients.

Established over 10 years ago, our client is one of QLD’s most prestigious brands, known in part for its high service delivery, but most notably for its employee-centric approach to business with tremendous staff retention and progression metrics.

**The Role**
You’ll be working in a close-knit and fun team They love someone who will join in on the banter

You’ll be supporting the MD with all things insurance, business and operations Typically, you’ll be assisting with:

- General office management
- Liaising with insurers and underwriters
- Liaising with internal brokers for accounts and debtor management
- Event management
- Working closely with MD on strategy and growth plans for the business

They’re growing from strength to strength and envision this role evolving into an Operations Manager position.

**About You**
Due to the nature of the role, this would really suit an experience Broker Assistant or Account Executive that is looking to take a sidestep to specialise in Operations.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Tier 1 or 2 qualification
- 1 + year’s experience as an Account Broker / Account Executive **OR**:

- 2 + years experience as a Broker Assistant
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Organised with high attention to detail
- Experience with general insurance - commercial lines and/or financial lines
- Be a team player who can join in the banter
