**The Role**

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role operates within our in-house marketing team. The purpose of this role is to:

- manage the development of Beacon Lighting‘s social media strategy for both our Retail and Trade business, within the required deadlines and set budgets
- monitor performance of social activities and make recommendations to maximize results, whilst ensuring the company’s market position and brand integrity is maintained.

Key responsibilities include:

- develop and execute social media strategies for Beacon Lighting & Beacon Trade, to increase sales and traffic to the retail website
- manage third party sponsorships and social influencer relationships and initiatives
- assist with UAT for ecommerce projects and site updates where relevant
- work closely with IT department, web sales team, website development company, media agency to fulfill digital initiatives
- keep abreast of the digital changes to ensure our strategy is up to date
- to brief jobs to design team and contribute to the creative strategy of campaigns and projects

**About You**

With an enthusiastic attitude and a passion for digital marketing, social media and working with influencers, you have an understanding and knowledge of a wide variety of communication channels and techniques used in the Australian retail market. Your tertiary qualification in Marketing (or relevant field) and preferably minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role ensures that you have a thorough understanding of best practice digital and marketing principles. In addition, you will demonstrate:

- Experience with social platforms including listening and reporting tools like Social Bakers and the ability to foster strong relationships with influencers
- High level of competency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as confidence when conducting presentations
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Exemplary attention to detail
