Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in delivering Caterlink's marketing strategy by planning, executing, and optimising campaigns across digital, social, email, content, and events. This dynamic role requires a balance of creativity and technical skill, with responsibilities spanning content creation, design, campaign management, analytics, and event coordination.
Working closely with the sales team, suppliers, and senior leadership, the Marketing Coordinator ensures that all marketing activity aligns with business goals and brand guidelines while driving engagement, leads, and conversions. The role involves producing high-quality marketing assets, managing website and social media content, coordinating in-house demonstration events, and leveraging digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with developing, planning, and delivering marketing strategies and campaigns across digital, social, email, content, and events, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand guidelines.
- Write, edit, and optimise content (with SEO keywords) for blogs, website, social media, promotional material, product demonstrations, and educational resources.
- Design and produce marketing assets including brochures, infographics, catalogues, signage, digital/print collateral, including social media imagery.
- Capture and edit photography and video content for use across web, social, events, and YouTube.
- Manage and schedule social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, including community management and moderation.
- Plan, execute, and optimise paid advertising META campaigns, including A/B testing and performance reporting.
- Build, manage, and analyse segmented email campaigns, providing insights to support future planning.
- Manage and update website content, structure, and layouts.
- Coordinate and deliver in-house demonstration events, including concept development, promotional activities, landing pages, registration, and hosting.
- Partner with the sales team on targeted collateral and promotions to drive leads and conversions.
- Collaborate with suppliers on joint promotions and campaigns to generate qualified leads.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels and customer touchpoints.
- Conduct market research and identify trends to inform strategy.
- Track and analyse campaign and digital performance to guide future initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on marketing strategy development and implementation in the VIC region.
- Use AI platforms to support content creation and streamline tasks.
- Undertake ad-hoc marketing projects as required.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a marketing coordination or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience delivering integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, and events.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading ability.
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices and experience creating keyword-optimised content.
- Proven ability to manage paid digital advertising campaigns, including Meta Ads and A/B testing.
- Experience building and managing segmented email campaigns (e.g. Mailchimp or similar CRM).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, track metrics, and generate reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Experience with:
- WordPress (website management and content creation)
- Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign (design)
- Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut (video editing)
- Dynamics 365 Marketing (desirable)
- Familiarity with both traditional and digital marketing techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
