**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Key Account Manager on the Independent Supermarket Team.
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining relationships with independent supermarket groups, ensuring the delivery of our channel plan and sales budget.
The role also supports the national relationship as a key contributor to the national promotional program, trade investment management and delivery of key activations. This is a great role for an individual looking to step up from a National Account Executive role or already in a similar role.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Management of key Multi Site Operators MSO’s**:
- Management of MSO relationship
- Creation on MSO promotional and activation plans
- Management of MSO level investment plan
- Delivery of ranging of CORE and NPD within MSO’s and within state DC’s
- Review and verify claim documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to claims in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of claims and associated documentation.
**Delivery of Other Retail and Independent customer group sales plan**:
- Ensure 1/4erly delivery of the other retail and independent customer group sales plan to budget
- Build and manage the FCST for other retail and Independent.
- Monitor order status and proactively address any potential category movements.
**Spend Management**:
- Own the investment plan for MSO’s and manage the entry into Blueshift and facilitate the payment of claims.
- Support the National promotional program as required. Analyse of DIFOT data and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the operations team to implement measures to enhance DIFOT outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure processing of National and MSO claims.
**Support to METCASH**National Program**:
- Provide assistance and support to METCASH National program in range reviews, planning days, 1/4erly reviews and as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, SRM, Category and Finance to ensure smooth execution to key strategic priorities.
**Management of Field Team**:
- Contribute to creating the field cycle priority.
- Creation and delivery of all required information and scan insights to ensure the field is armed to deliver NPD, ranging and distribution targets.
- Work closely with National Program Manager to manage and measure field performance using the online portal and field derived insights.
- Contribute to the 1/4erly field performance reviews.
- Key point of contact for 2 x field related enquires internal and external.
- Tertiary education preferred
- Outstanding relationship building skills. Able to engage and build relationships with a diverse range of key contacts across multiple levels of the industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Proficiency in using Excel and ability to learn new systems
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the team and business.
