**The opportunity
We’re looking for a new Key Account Manager to join our team, as the face of Mercedes-Benz Vans to some of Australia’s most recognizable organisations, collaborating with them and across a stakeholder network, to foster strong relationships and to grow the business.

Our team is based in Mulgrave, Melbourne, and this hybrid role has great variety and flexibility, allowing a mix of working from our newly refurbished office, home, retailers and onsite with our key account customers.

**Key responsibilities:
- Exceed customer expectations and maintain quality, long-term relationships with key account customers and stakeholders
- Work closely with an established portfolio of key account customers, mainly in the logistics and rental segments, to identify opportunities within their businesses for efficiency and growth with solutions such as electric vans and connectivity solutions
- Ensure organized and seamless management of all aspects of each key account, including but not limited to; new product introductions, specification development, order planning, supply management, regular updates and reporting and problem solving
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including Customer Services, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, the Vans retail network and our head office in Germany
- Work closely with a wide range of key external partners and suppliers negotiating and driving for results to ensure successful outcomes
- Drive development of our bodybuilder business through collaboration and project work with our bodybuilder partners, Vans Customer Services and Sales Engineering to ensure the best customer outcomes.
- Collaborate on key initiatives for the Mercedes-Benz Vans team including proposals, tenders, pricing modelling, systems roll outs and integration, and team and leadership development

**Qualifikationen**:
**Who we are looking for
As a key point of contact for an established portfolio of customers, the role is the ’face’ of Mercedes-Benz for all aspects of our Key Account customers’ needs. Commitment to deliver on our promises and a passion for exceeding customer expectations is the gauge for success. The right person for this role will have the ability to use the analysis of data and trends affecting ours and our customers’ industries and communicate impacts, benefits and solutions, presenting to, negotiating and engaging with customers and key stakeholders across various management levels and organisations.

Along with a high attention to detail, a pro-active and ‘make it happen’ attitude and an ability to multi-task across operational and strategic goals is essential. A tertiary qualification in Business and/or technical automotive experience would be highly regarded, along with previous experience managing key account relationships, particularly in the fleet/automotive industry.
