**The Company**

Our client is a market leader in this FMCG segment, delivering innovative fresh bakery products to the retail, food service, grocery and convenience market. We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to drive performance, profitability and quality across one of the largest customers in Melbourne.

**The Opportunity**

This critical Key Account Manager role goes beyond traditional account management. Development and execution of the Company’s sales strategy; the identification of new product development (**NPD**) opportunities and the success of their commercialisation make the normal sophisticated key account management relationships even more satisfying.

Key responsibilities include:

- New business development
- Identification, realisation and delivery of new products to market
- Managing pricing and achieving volume targets
- Analysing data, developing and presenting insights to customers and internally
- Planning and budgets
- Alignment of sales, marketing and innovation activities

**The Successful Key account Manager**

The successful key account manager will have a demonstrated track record of success when working with major grocery customers and independents. Skills will include
- The ability to demonstrate and deliver a sophisticated sales process
- High levels of financial numeracy with a particular focus on the balance between volume and margin
- Exceptional relationship management skills
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level presentation skills
- An internally and externally focused collaborative style
- Commercial presence
