**About The Role**

We require a commercially astute and operationally focused individual with senior account management experience who also possesses high customer service standards combined with the ability to deliver exceptional sales results.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Develop and secure new business opportunities, gaining market share and ensuring effective execution of the company sales plan
- Ensure customer retention by maintaining a strong track record in supply and service level performance
- End-to-end execution of client projects, from enquiry through to quotation, and repeat orders
- Profile existing client needs and build effective relationships
- Support and implement Business Development Team initiatives
- Forecast and review, annual, quarterly and monthly gross profit streams
- Ensure customers are managed by the wider team with detailed account management plans
- Share competitive intelligence and business opportunity knowledge

**About You**

To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:

- A proven track record in achieving targets and sales objectives
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent administration, planning and organisational skills, and ability to prioritise and finalise a number of competing tasks
- A good understanding of business and financial processes
- Strong negotiation skills combined with solid problem solving, analytical and decision making abilities
- High level of attention to detail
- A results driven and collaborative attitude

We supply glass and plastic bottles, jars, containers, closures, cartons, dividers, cans, flexible and bulk packaging to the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, health care, wine, oil, spirit, industrial, agricultural, pet care, personal care and cosmetic sectors from seven Packaging Plaza Showrooms and Distribution Centers across the Nation.
