**Employment Opportunity**
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the capability delivery function for AGD which includes the setting of development standards and frameworks, ensuring conformance with the wider APS Digital service standards and cyber security arrangements, managing strategic vendor relationships and stakeholder engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.

The role also oversees the ICT Project Governance function for the department including the ICT project management centre of excellence as well as ICT project reporting both internal to the Division and to various departmental governance forums.

The Head, Capability Delivery will contribute to the development and assessment of business cases for new capabilities that influence the strategies for delivery and is an important contributor to AGD governance forums making financial, investment and/or security decisions relating to AGD operations. The role is also instrumental to the implementation of New Policy Proposals.

The role requires specialised technical expertise and operates with mínimal direction and is expected to exercise sound judgment relating to complex technical situations and managing stakeholder expectations in relation to digital solutions.
