**Scope of Task**:
Special Operations Modernisation (SOMOD) is responsible for the development, acquisition, and sustainment of a range of capabilities across a few projects through the ADF

Special Operations Modernisation (SOMOD) is responsible for the development, acquisition, and sustainment of a range of capabilities across a few projects through the ADF Special Operations Program. SOMOD is currently sponsoring multiple projects through the One Defence Capability Framework, all at varying stages of acquisition and delivery. Whilst all current and future projects seek to acquire and deliver vastly differing capabilities, they will be required to integrate and be interoperable with each other; including with a range of Integrated Force capabilities. Currently, each project within the ADF Special Operations Program contracts individuals from various service providers to support realisation of capability; augmenting the established ADF and APS workforce.

To support delivery of capability, SOMOD is seeking an experienced Project Manager with experience and expertise within the maritime domain.

The required services include:

- Project Manager, with the ADF Special Operations Program, for Project LAND 1508-1 _Special Operations Capability Enhancements and Continuous Development,_ Army Minors, and other projects, with an emphasis on maritime capabilities.
- Develop operational concepts, User Requirements and Function and Performance Specifications for maritime capabilities.
- Develop business cases for a range of capabilities, with emphasis on maritime capabilities.
- Manage scope, schedule, risk, and opportunities for assigned capability items and provide input into maintaining the Project’s Forward Work Plan.
- Responsible for the reporting of project documentation to support Integrated Project Management Team, Program Steering Group, and other governance forums.
- Consult with Delivery Group and Special Forces Group for the development and management of introduction into service activities. Including, but not limited to trials, evaluations, and training.
- Consult with Delivery Group and Special Forces Group for the development and management of introduction into service activities documentation.
- Provide project management advice to SOMOD staff
- Conduct additional tasks as required.
