As the **Capability Manager, **you will support the delivery and transition of key project capabilities, overseeing project management, assessments, and coordination across teams. You will prepare documentation, assist with approvals, and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals. This role involves consulting with various stakeholders to inform capability assessments and ensure smooth integration throughout the project lifecycle with the Royal Australian Airforce.

To succeed in this endeavour, you will:

- Provide specialist support and advice for key systems, including aircraft and associated electronic warfare (EW) systems, to meet project milestones.
- Manage project activities for the introduction and transition of capabilities including training systems.
- Conduct and document capability management assessments and introduction into service reviews.
- Coordinate project efforts with the Air Combat Program and broader Defence Intelligence and EW initiatives.
- Prepare and review project documentation, assisting with approvals and capability assessments to support ongoing development and integration efforts.

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:

- You must have and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the Defence or professional services industries.
- A natural ability to build trusted relationships with team members, customers, and partners.
- Hold strong experience in Capability Management within Defence Industry
- Experience with the Airforce is highly desired, however not mandatory
- Strong communication skills, and you’ll also be an analytical thinker who loves solving complex problems.
