**About the Company**

As an Industry leader, you will proudly represent this highly regarded brand. Reporting to the National Operations Manager your responsibilities will increase and evolve as you become familiar with the intricacies of the business in this new role to make your own.

**About the role**

You will work alongside a team of professionals and initially, you will assist the team primarily to lead the operations.
- Lead operations for airline division including catering, warehousing and general services
- Ensure compliance regarding regulatory requirements
- Contribute to organizational planning and strategy
- Assist in the effective management of fleet, ensuring that maintenance is undertaken
- Develop plans for maintenance
- Manage Operations and ground support staff including rostering, performance development and training
- Day to day performance management, equipment and processes implementation
- Review, Plan and Manage inventory requirements of finished goods at warehouses
- Develop and Maintain relationships with Internal and external customers, Customs, Brokers, Freight Forwarders and Warehouses
- Trouble shoot to identify root cause of problems and work with the team to resolve hurdles moving forward
- Drive safety first culture
- Resolving customer issues ensuring clear understanding of the customer expectation and requirements

**About you**
- Excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to interact at all levels
- Solid experience in leadership
- Understanding of Lean methodologies
- A genuine interest in Supply Chain with a background in catering and/or aviation
- Intermediate - Advanced level with MS Excel
