**The Role**:
This role is Perth based.

As the Operations Manager, you will embrace and share our values of Excellence, Respect, Integrity, and Collaboration & Care and have a pivotal role in driving our vision to making a difference to all animals and people by leading the way in the Veterinary Experience.

The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising the day-to-day operational routines, equipment, and assets of the hospital to ensure operational effectiveness. Leadership forms a key component of this role with direct report responsibilities to assist with the management of key duties.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Management of day-to-day operations including operational decision making.
- End-to-end process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in senior management strategic planning meetings.
- Plan and forecast to meet strategic operational business goals.
- End to end Inventory and Equipment management including budget management and reporting.
- Strong management and oversight of all Workplace Health and Safety compliance reporting requirements.
- Supervise, coach, and manage the performance of direct reports.
- Foster a harmonious and professional work culture.

**About you**:

- **Minimum 5 years’ experience**working in an Operational and Leadership role, Veterinary or Healthcare experience is highly desirable however not essential.
- Project management experience is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to drive exceptional performanceand deliver operational excellence.
- **Previous experience in change management and performance improvement outcomes.**:

- Demonstrated planning, time management and organisational skills, particularly in managing multiple tasks and multidisciplinary issues to achieve business goals and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skillsto engage and build relationships with colleagues, team members and key stakeholders.

This role has flexibility around when hours are worked but given the nature of our after-hours service for clients, your availability and support will be needed at times on weekends, mornings /nights, and public holidays.
