**Your key responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the Referral and Support Services, including the Drug and Alcohol Diversion Programs and the Program Support Team, ensuring appropriate management of financial and human resource responsibilities, performance management and professional development of staff.
- Provide professional operational advice to senior management on best practice relating to Referral and Support Services and the delivery of business improvements to maximise the effective use of resources.
- Develop and support procurement and contract management processes for Referral and Support Services.
- Support the development of, and prepare advice on relevant policy, legislation, and programs, including reports and secretariat support, briefings, and ministerial correspondence.
- Promote a collaborative working relationship across the Referral and Support Services Team to enhance efficiency, cooperation and cultivate a positive team culture.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen effective relationships with service providers and other stakeholders including the judiciary and other government and nongovernment organisations to support Specialist Courts, Referral and Support Services programs across the state.
- Ensure opportunities to promote and build the profile of the Drug and Alcohol Diversion Programs through representation of the agency, at relevant stakeholder meetings and develop and maintain internal and external corporate communications, including content for departmental intranet and internet sites such as the courts website, newsletters, and information sessions.
- Ensure information requirements are identified and appropriate data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting activity occurs to meet internal needs and external reporting, monitoring and evaluation and legislative requirements including development of reporting information for performance reporting and to inform future policy development.
- Support, contribute to and cultivate cultural capability within the operations of programs established under the Courts Innovation Program to assist vulnerable people coming into contact with the justice system.
