Team Leader

**Your Role**:
As part of our continual growth our Administration Team are now seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our corporate office located in the heart of the Brisbane CBD.

Working with the Leadership and Management team this role will see you provide day-to-day leadership and technical mentoring to your team ensuring the delivery of a cost effective, professional and customer focused claims service, while developing staff and implementing quality initiatives and Championing Customer Service Excellence. This role has a significant focus on leadership, customer service, data integrity and continuous improvement.

**You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following**:

- Manage the day to day operations of the Administration team
- Review staff performance and provide training and coaching where required
- Build and develop strong working relationships with our Clients
- Manage daily workflow in order to maintain client service standards - Internal and External
- Overseeing the performance of the team and ensuring KPI achievement to assist the business in meeting its performance needs according to client contract
- Acting as a point of escalation for any disputes, following GB’s dispute management framework

**We’re interested in hearing from people who possess**:

- Minimum five 5 years insurance experience preferably two 2 + years of directly managing a team within a Claims environment
- Exposure to or working knowledge of General Insurance
- Ability to build and develop business relationships with Clients and Service Provider
- High level interpersonal skills and solid team player attitude
- Strong business acumen
- Strong knowledge of the Financial Drivers for the company
- Proven experience in achieving business targets
- Strong coaching, mentoring and negotiation skills
- Experience in relationship building and stakeholder management
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role
