**This opportunity**

As a **Commercial Insights Analyst,** you will work with a variety of different stakeholders across the business to harness customer data to help identify commercial growth opportunities. Your work will have a direct impact on shaping the future of TPG Telecom customers and will help shape key commercial business decisions and activities.

**Responsibilities**
- Analyse and interpret large, complex datasets to reveal trends and correlations
- Work with stakeholders to gather the right insights about competitor and market behaviour
- Examine customer behaviour using internal datasets (e.g. usage, multi-service product holdings, churn propensities, product performance etc.) to drive insights e.g. how will the results of the analysis help to improve TPG’s commercial performance?
- Investigate performance of current products and translate insights into specific improvement suggestions / new feature proposals
- Driving development of machine learning techniques to model customer behaviour and preferences
- Using historic data and relevant statistical frameworks to forecast key trends and predict future events
- Build out and update industry knowledge on data analytics and leverage into daily work
- Support more junior members in the team and coach them if necessary, around data interrogation or analysis
- Assist us in driving the right revenue forecasts for the company

**Knowledge and experience**
- Experience in solving large analytical problems using statistical, predictive analytical models or other quantitative methods.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Fluency in SQL highly desirable with solid programming skills (e.g. Python) an advantage.
- Experience in handling large datasets, understanding data structures and testing for data quality.
- Experience with data visualizations tools such as Qlik, PowerBI or Tableau an advantage but not essential
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or IT desirable but not essential
- A team player, with the ability to work proactively their own initiative in a fast paced environment.
- Pricing mindset and keen interest in telecommunications industry.
- Strong sense of ownership with a proactive attitude and the ability to work autonomously
- Strong stakeholder management skills
