**Position: Insights Analyst**

As part of the Member Analytics team your role will be to work on and identify areas of opportunity or business problems and provide data driven member insights and recommendations that are actionable, scientifically backed yet easy to understand to support the HCF business and members.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of business problems (from growth to retention, marketing and web analytics, member experience in all our digital and assisted channels) and aspire to be a data and business SME that will directly influence the tactical and strategic decision-making process at HCF.

What You'll Contribute:
This role is a blend of insights from both our offline and online channels.

Your role will be focusing on identification of trends, recommendations, key areas of opportunity across the offline and online pillars to demonstrate and put Marketing and the MMA team in a position of proactive activity. A key focus is building strong, cross-functional ways of working and working with one large MMA team to share your natural ability to see trends as they happen and make recommendations and identify key areas of opportunity ahead of time.

Marketing to set the measures of success, setup reporting, with a strong focus on providing insights and recommendations (such as experiments, personalisation) towards continuous improvement of performance

Growth to attract new members, help optimise media spend and raise brand awareness via a very large range of channels and in collaboration with our external partners

Member Experience to move towards the best possible experience for our members in all parts of the customer journey via all our digital and/or assisted channels

Strategy to size opportunities, support the data evidence of business cases and help the business grow at the right pace and in the right direction

Who You Are:
Insights Analyst with a proven track record of at least 2-5 years experience

Relevant Tertiary Qualifications: Degree-level qualifications, with preference for degrees in applied finance, statistics, actuarial or a related analytical field

Previous experience in turning raw data into actionable, value-adding insights and recommendations, tell a story (build and present packs), with a proven track record of successfully influencing the business

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to overlay commercial acumen to develop insights and recommendations - challenging the business when required

Inquisitive mindset, structured thinking and proactivity will be key to be successful in this role

Engagement and stakeholder presentation skills to help the business understand the insights and actions
