Insights Analyst | Sydney (Hybrid – 3 Days in Office)

We're partnering with a leading e-commerce business to find an
Insights Analyst
who's ready to take the next step in their analytics career. This is a growth-focused role within a high-performing data team that's known for its technical depth, commercial impact, and collaborative culture.

You'll work alongside a respected data leader (someone our placed candidates genuinely love working with) and contribute to projects that shape real business decisions - not just dashboards.

This is a role for someone who's curious, commercially minded, and confident turning complexity into clarity. You'll be trusted to explore data, uncover patterns, and deliver insights that influence marketing, product, strategy, pricing and various other teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Partnering with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into analytical approaches
  • Writing robust SQL to extract, clean, and manipulate data from large datasets
  • Building intuitive Tableau dashboards and visualisations that tell compelling stories
  • Presenting insights that drive commercial decisions across marketing, product, and strategy
  • Collaborating with other analysts to share knowledge and continuously improve

What You'll Bring:

  • 2–3 years' experience in analytics, insights, or commercial data roles
  • Strong SQL and Tableau skills - these are non-negotiable
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
  • A self-starter mindset, you're proactive, curious, and love learning from others
  • Confidence in communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • A genuine interest in how data drives business outcomes
