Our government client is seeking an immediately available HR Manager.

**Your new company**

Our government client based in Perth's CBD is seeking an immediately available HR Manager to join their team on a 2-month temporary contract. The role is likely to extend and eventually be advertised permanently. Our client is a small government authority seeking someone who works well in small teams and is capable of completing end-to-end HR functions.

**Your new role**
- Provide high level HR consultancy advice and initiatives
- Assist with strategic HR projects
- Develop HR policies and practises
- Coordinate the recruitment selection process and ensure compliance is upheld
- Provide formal ER advice and support in resolutions
- Coordinate health and safety practices in the workplace.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- State government experience is essential
- Substantial experience in HR management
- Knowledge of legislation, policies and procedures relevant to human resource management
