DSV Solutions is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Logistics Coordinator, Solutions in Melbourne.

As the Logistics Coordinator, you will have direct responsibility for administrative functions to support our Solutions Warehouse team and the wider site administration to meet the client(s) SLA’s and all internal / external KPI’s. You will be the first line of communication between DSV and their Clients. The position is responsible to process daily administrative functions for clients for our Solutions department, by completing data entry, analysing reports and problem solving, to ensure the day to day operations run smoothly.

**Your typical day at DSV**:

- Pick and pack orders when required, and assist with labelling and pallet/inventory counts.
- Accurate data entry and management of customers purchase consignments and other relevant data from customers’ suppliers.
- Provide general logistic support with coordination of all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Liaise with local DSV office on a regular basis to provide feedback in relation to shipments, customer needs.
- Liaise with customer and provide information and reports as requested and approved by DSV management.
- Follow customer’s policies and procedures in relation to health and safety.
- Enhance and maintain supplier and customer relationships.
- Ensure timely, attentive and appropriate communication with internal and external customers and ensure effective resolution of service issues.
- Implement process improvements in consultation with DSV management.

**About you**:

- Excellent communication skills, a strong customer focus and an adept thinker for problem solving.
- Proactively anticipating and planning strategically giving statistical information to the management team to ensure resourcing and activity details are provided in order to plan accordingly.
- Previous warehouse experience, preferably within a warehouse administrative function.
- Understanding of Carrier coordination, Inventory control management and Financial awareness from working directly in working directly in the warehouse operations.
- CargoWise One knowledge and experience is preferred.
