The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team in Dandenong South. Reporting to the National Transport Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth scheduling and coordination of daily transport operations.

This role is based onsite in the office, 5 days a week on a rotating roster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule drivers and allocate work efficiently across routes.
  • Optimise daily runs to maximise productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Communicate clearly with drivers, key stakeholders, and customers throughout the day.
  • Create run sheets in Radaro and ensure accuracy of daily schedules.
  • Create consignments and book jobs with customers.
  • Coordinate delivery bookings with receivers and end customers via phone, text, and email.
  • Support the team with general transport administration and problem solving as required.

About You

  • Previous experience in transport coordination or logistics administration is highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with drivers and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficient with transport systems (experience with Radaro preferred).
  • A team player with a proactive and hands-on approach.
