The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team in Dandenong South. Reporting to the National Transport Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth scheduling and coordination of daily transport operations.
This role is based onsite in the office, 5 days a week on a rotating roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule drivers and allocate work efficiently across routes.
- Optimise daily runs to maximise productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Communicate clearly with drivers, key stakeholders, and customers throughout the day.
- Create run sheets in Radaro and ensure accuracy of daily schedules.
- Create consignments and book jobs with customers.
- Coordinate delivery bookings with receivers and end customers via phone, text, and email.
- Support the team with general transport administration and problem solving as required.
About You
- Previous experience in transport coordination or logistics administration is highly regarded.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with drivers and customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Proficient with transport systems (experience with Radaro preferred).
- A team player with a proactive and hands-on approach.
