Temporary contract for an experienced administrator to work within the Business Networking Department in a Local Government authority in the South East | 3 month contract, 4 days per week

A local government authority, based in the South Eastern suburbs has an opening for a competent administrator to assist them on a temporary basis four days per week within the Business Networking Department.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Administrative support including letter writing and managing the department's inbox
- Maintain and update internal databases including council's intranet
- Support the Manager with specific projects and post event activities to social media campaigns
- Preparing agendas and minute taking
- Report writing, data entry & filing

**You will have the following**:

- Strong administrative experience
- Understanding of mail merge
- Local Government experience would be advantageous
- TechOne, Authority or Pathway experience would be advantageous
- Intermediate knowledge of the MS office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proven experience working in a busy environment
- Be hard-working, punctual, and organized
- Work effectively and autonomously to specific deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- An aptitude to grow and learn
