About the role

Reporting to the IT Project Manager, you will provide end-to-end business analysis activities through IT transformation and strategic programs, with immediate focus on a HRIS and Payroll systems overhaul.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing an assessment of 'current state' and determine needs, and what is 'future state'
  • Facilitating workshops and eliciting feedback to refine and validate business requirements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional/technical specifications
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of existing systems, processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Documenting and communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner for stakeholders at all levels
  • Participating in RFP/vendor selection processes
  • Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, and business process mapping activities

What we're looking for

  • You are a seasoned Senior IT Business Analyst, able to impact immediately
  • Critically, you have previously worked as a Business Analyst on a large complex HRIS and/or Payroll transformation initiative - ideally end-to-end
  • Proficient in business process mapping, requirements gathering and documentation
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid Agile and Waterfall approach - 'fit for purpose'
  • Fluency in the use of Jira and Confluence
  • Six-Sigma or Change Management skills are advantageous
