**About the role**
The Executive General Manager - Youth, Camping & Action Sports (EGM) is responsible for executive leadership of a diverse portfolio of operating units, each with unique challenges and opportunities. The portfolio currently includes camping, action sports and youth services, and leads the Y’s social impact measurement function. The Camping operating unit runs campsites across Victoria for schools, community groups and families. Action Sports runs skate parks and youth-led skate programs across Australia. Youth Services empowers young people to contribute to their communities, and the Bridge/Rebuild program provides young offenders with a second chance through education, training and employment. The EGM also acts as the business partner on youth matters across all service lines at the Y and will be instrumental in measuring the social outcome of various initiatives.

**About you**
You are a highly regarded corporate or community services leader with a history of leading a large and geographically distributed services workforce in a high-compliance environment. With extensive experience in government and/or business-to-business contract management, you are adept in bid and tender management and creating commercial opportunities, which has enabled you to work independently to successfully grow businesses. Your track record in developing relevant strategic initiatives is underpinned by your proven ability to lead a highly effective team. Collegial, collaborative and diplomatic, you are accomplished in building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including working with boards.
