**The Client**
Our client, a global leader in international freight forwarding and third party logistics, is enjoying outstanding success and business growth. With a focus on delivering exceptional service along the supply chain to a portfolio of high profile and prestigious clients.
**The Position**
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be accountable for the success of the Sales team and your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and mentoring the business development and account management teams
- Develop and implementing sales strategies and processes
- Support and maintaining existing customer relationships
- Continue business growth with established blue chip client base
- Prepare and present tenders and proposals incorporating all supply chain service capabilities
- Facilitate and report weekly sales meetings
**The Requirements**
- Proven track record in sales and marketing within the Australian international freight forwarding and logistics industry
- Extensive experience in all aspects of air and ocean freight, logistics and transportation procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to develop and manage a high performing team
- Have a proven track record in people management and best practice
- Ability to adapt and work in a rapidly changing and evolving structure
