Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Conduct end-to-end recruitment and management of youth-focused entry-level programs such as the Department’s Graduate Program and School-based Traineeship.
- Provide guidance and support to leaders on entry-level programs and diversity and inclusion matters.
- Coordinate, develop, implement and facilitate professional development for programs and awareness-building sessions for diversity and inclusion events.
- Support the development and growth of employee networks and working groups that support diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Represent at diversity and inclusion events and forums, building and establishing diversity and inclusion networks.
**Eligibility**
All employees are required to undergo employment screening, which includes a National Criminal History Check and other checks that may be relevant to the position requirements.
To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector it is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the duration of the contract.

**About you**
- Ability to manage recruitment and programming of employment programs for diverse groups demonstrating project and talent management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to advise and influence leaders and employees on a wide range of projects including employment programs and diversity and inclusion matters.
- Ability to project manage and meet deadlines to ensure the success of programs and projects.
- Knowledge and understanding of contemporary Australian Diversity and Inclusion practice.
- Knowledge of HR principles and practices relating to recruitment, employee performance, engagement, and retention.
- Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification in Business, Human Resources Management or Psychology is desirable, but not essential.
