**About the Role**:
The International Marketing and Recruitment Team is committed to providing service and specialised
support to international students seeking enrolment at Melbourne Polytechnic. The team works closely
with prospective international students and international education agent representatives from over 50
countries around the world.
International Marketing and Recruitment Officers are responsible for completing key tasks that enable
courses.

**Duties**:

- Provide a high-level of customer service to internal and external clients, ensuring that all
possible measures are taken to respond to their needs and requests in a timely fashion,
disseminating accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders and ensure
all enquiries are handled with tact and diplomacy.
- Establish and maintain positive and beneficial professional relationships with authorised
education agent representatives providing staff with training and comprehensive information
about institute courses, services and processes.
- Communicate effectively with prospective students, current students and authorised education
- Liaise with program areas to develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of institute courses
and study pathways.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Relevant Degree with relevant work experience; or a suitable combination of lesser
qualifications and significant relevant experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the international education sector including the simplified student
visa framework.
