What you’ll be doing
Seeking an experienced HR Coordinator leader to join a reputable disability support services on a full time basis based in Melbourne’s west.
The HR Coordinator is responsible for undertaking and coordinating recruitment where required, as well as providing support to managers across a variety of administrative functions. This role is a permanent full time opportunity based working in the clients head office in Melbourne’s west.
Key responsibilities
- Undertaking and coordinating recruitment where required such as conducting personal and group interview for support worker, cleaner and other admin staff.
- Providing proactive support to managers in the coordination of recruitment, selection and onboarding activities for employees, students, graduates and volunteers
- Distribution of employment agreements and new starter paperwork and regular auditing staff files.
- Coordinating EDVOS wellbeing activities and staff induction sessions
- Timely monitoring of HR inbox, responding to general queries from applicants and queries from incoming students, graduates and volunteers.
- Preparation of reports, analysis and written correspondence as required
- Assisting with administration of Workcover claims and injury management in consultation with the Human Resource Manager
- Assisting with general HR administration duties and projects on a needs basis
Selection Criteria
- 1 or more years’ experience in a similar HR Coordinator role
- Knowledge OR exposure to Disability, Nursing, Healthcare & Allied Health industry (desirable not essential )
- Need to be proactive, taking self-prompted initiative and self-motivated to bring positive change
- High-level verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills,
