Hays is currently partnered with a transport services company to recruit a HR Coordinator. This company offers a full suite of supply chain services from logistics services, warehousing, and international solutions.

**Your new role**

This role will be responsible for assisting with the complete employee lifecycle, including Attraction, Recruitment, Onboarding, Development, Retention and Separation as well as working on administrative payroll tasks.

Responsibilities will include:

- Assist with the preparation of job advertisements, both internally and externally
- Assist the HR Manager with the interview process
- Assist with Reference Checks, organising medicals and police checks
- Assist with the preparation of employee contracts
- Prepare Induction schedule for new employees
- Liaise with relevant team and Manager to ensure everything is in place for the commencement date
- Explore internal and external training providers/opportunities
- Coordinate end of employment tasks
- Assist with exit Interviews
- Assist with the administration tasks relating to payroll

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in human resources, administration or business management would be desirable
- Minimum 2 years in a generalist HR or recruitment position
- Freight or transport experience would be ideal
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including Executive level
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Proven ability to identify and introduce process improvement
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Sound IT competency, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
