HR Coordinator | 10 month FTC | North Melbourne | Hybrid working

Hays is partnering with a leading facilities management company to appoint an HR Coordinator to join their team in North Melbourne on a 10-month fixed term contract.

**Your new role**

As an HR Coordinator, you will support the HR function nationally with all day-to-day HR administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintain electronic employee personnel records
- First point of contact for HR queries
- Work closely with Payroll in respect of onboarding new starters, changes in contracts and leavers
- Manage pre-employment checks for new starters
- Assist in ER related tasks such as disciplinarians, investigations and workplace incidents, including the administration of letters, record of conversation etc.
- Support with recruitment activity including short listing, interviews, reference checks and onboarding
- Contribute to the promotion of ID&E throughout the organisation, and ensure effective communication to maintain ethical and transparent working relationships

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor of Business (HR or Management) or similar discipline
- Previous experience working as part of a busy HR team
- Experience using HR software
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of industry awards
- Excellent organisational skills
