They are currently looking for a knowledge management Officer for delivering technical instruction manuals, digital communications, work procedures, and other technical documentation at the appropriate level for the specific audience.
**Your new role**
The role works closely with Subject-Matter Experts to develop, edit and format documentation, as well as develop and maintain positive working relationships and networks with all key stakeholders and staff. The Knowledge Management Officer will develop and maintain the knowledge management lifecycle process for the ICT Services knowledge base.
- Conducting knowledge elicitation and coordinating stakeholder collaboration while developing and maintaining positive working relationships with, and providing timely advice to, all information stakeholders.
- Maintaining the internal and customer-facing knowledge base content using the information system to respond to feedback on knowledge from customers and staff.
- Following the information management lifecycle to review and retire content to ensure all articles are accurate, comprehensive, up to date, accessible and relevant to the intended audience.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in information gathering from multiple sources including staff communications, customer experiences, and existing business knowledge documents in various information systems.
- Sound knowledge of the processes relevant to the analysis of information, re-structure of content and proven ability to distil complex facts into clear, coherent, accurate and comprehensive written communication for the appropriate audience's readability level and technical understanding.
- Knowledge of agency programs, relevant policies and activities and demonstrated experience with information technology and complex computing systems.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, effectively operate as a member of a team under limited direction, and plan, organise and manage competing priorities to achieve deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to promoting and creating a safe and inclusive work environment, and the legislative requirements of Equal Opportunity and Work Health and Safety legislation.
