The Information Management and Technology Division guides the Departments' digital capability and is leading digital transformation for the Department including Victorian government schools. The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base of approximately 750,000 staff and students.
IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, and integration.

About the opportunity
A fantastic ongoing opportunity is available for a Risk Coordinator to assist the Security Risk and Compliance Manager in ensuring the Department's cyber risk management practices are in place and being followed to identify, quantify, and reduce risks to the security of information.
The purpose of this role is to provide the Security Risk and Compliance Manager with administration support in ensuring security risks are being effectively identified and managed.
About you
- Administer the security risk register;
- Engage risk owners to follow up risk treatments;
- Follow up risks from audit findings;
- Maintain data and assist in the preparation of relevant progress risks reports;
- Assist in risk assessments;
- Administer and maintain risk related documentation;
- Provide security risk support for both corporate and school environments.
