Leading provider of specialist financial products, services and advice to banking and financial services.

Your new role responsibility for developing and coordinating the implementation of risk management strategies, programs and projects to identify and minimize all forms of risk. Sets the companies ultimate risk limits.

Role responsibilities:

- Develop the risk management strategies and tactics for consideration by the board to enhance the organizations capacity to cost effectively identify, manage and minimize all forms of unacceptable risk.
- Provide a consultancy and education service to all divisions/units in risk management to enable them to identify risk and successfully implement programs to manage unacceptable risk.
- Monitor, review and report to the board on risk management performance and practice throughout the organization to identify and tackle areas for improvement.
- Meet the organisations policies and standards for its staff including integrity, ethics and equity requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
- Significant experience within the financial services sector
- Detailed knowledge of general risk, compliance, legal and regulatory issues
- Detailed knowledge of the Financial Services regulatory framework
- In depth understanding of credit Risk modelling/validation/Risk Management
