**The Company**:
A market leader in the commercial and industrial door industry.

**The Role**:

- Conduct quarterly OH&S meetings - control safety action plans and ensure corrective action/recommendations are completed
- Assist senior management with creation, implementation and evaluation of company safety policies and procedures
- Promoting employee adherence to health and safety procedures
- Administration of Work Cover Claims and Return to Work programs
- Control of first aid supplies
- Manage and review Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Other OH&S duties as required
- Assist with investigation and resolution of employee issues
- Assist senior management with employee counselling/disciplinary sessions and performance reviews
- Assist in the recruitment process (e.g. posting job ads, screening resumes, setting up interviews, sitting in on interviews, employment eligibility checks)
- Conduct office staff inductions
- Employment contracts and associated paperwork
- Other HR duties as required
- Manage monthly Health and Wellbeing Newsletter

**The Person**:
It goes without saying you are an excellent communicator, enjoy a busy environment and are a confident and proficient computer operator i.e. MS Office suite.
