**Administration Officer**
Kitchen Hardware Co (KHCo) is committed to enhancing the lives of people by providing kitchen hardware to suit their individual needs. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Administration Officer.
**Location**: Bayswater North, 7:30am to 4pm with 30min lunch break, three days per week (plus extra days as required to cover absences)
**Key Responsibilities**
- Code, price and process customer delivery dockets
- Debtor invoicing (shared role)
- Maintain filing systems (creation & filing)
- Answer phone calls and address enquiries (primary receptionist)
- Customer service & liaison (shared role but primary contact on days worked)
- Respond to co-workers’ requests & questions (shared role but primary contact on days worked)
- Data Entry (MYOB, Excel & Word)
- Act as a backup to Trish (Admin) and Purchasing (Andrew)
- Accounts Receivable (backup to Kishor, Vinod & Trish)
- Build and maintain product knowledge of products we sell (includes online learning modules from major suppliers)
- Weekly cleaning - approx. 2hrs/week (showroom, office, kitchen, bathrooms, etc.,)
- Other duties as directed
**“Must Have” Skills required**:
- Proficient keyboard skills
- Prior experience and proficiency in MYOB, Outlook, Word & Excel
- Be well spoken, well presented, clear communication skills (written & verbal - English)
- Have a “Can Do” attitude
- Reception skills - answering calls and responding to queries & requests both verbally and in person.
- Driver’s Licence (fully licenced, no restrictions)
**Entitlements - Core**:
- 20 days Annual Leave for full time employees (pro-rata for part time employees).
- 10 days Personal Leave for full time employees (pro-rata for part time employees).
- 13 weeks Long Service Leave for full time employees (pro-rata for part time employees) after 10 years of continuous service. Pro-rata LSL entitlements can be taken after 7 years of continuous service.
**Hourly Rate**:
$35.00 per hour (+Super)
**Payroll Cycle**:
Weekly, in arrears.
**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**
No essential tertiary qualification required, however certificates within administrative management are desirable.
**PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE**
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software especially in Excel.
Extensive experience providing high level administrative support to executive level staff is required.
Previous project coordination or management is desirable.
