**Administration/Roster Officer (15+ hours)**:

Sabine’s Home Care Services is a leading provider of home care services. We are seeking an experienced Roster/Administrative Officer who will play a vital role in optimising our client and Support Worker rosters.
Someone who can understand and retain new information and skills rapidly, demonstrates adaptability and a capacity for efficient learning. Our new team member will be proactive, self-motivated, has the ability to take charge, is able to act without being prompted and finds ways to get things done.
The Roster/Administration Officer role will initially be casual with a view to permanency. Our ideal staff member has flexibility to help out when other team members are sick or on leave, or if the workload increases. As our business grows, the hours are also like to increase.
**What would you do in the role?**
- Answering phones, liaising with clients, staff enquiries.
- Rostering, monitoring roster changes, notifying staff and clients of changes.
- Managing last minute roster changes and replacements.
- Providing administration support.
- Coordinating administrative/reception activities to ensure day to day operational needs are met.
**What we need from you**:
- Proven experience in roster management, preferably within a healthcare or aged care setting.
- Coordinate, negotiate and schedule Client and Support Worker rosters to ensure all shifts are filled.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills including basic Excel.
- An understanding of industrial awards and rostering software, or drive to learn.
(We use **eTools** as our rostering and client management system)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Friendly phone manner, strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly organised and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A strong client focus with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Provide high level administrative support on a variety of staffing and rostering related tasks as required.
- Willingness to work additional hours (cover sick and holiday leave).
- Happy and fun personality.
- Up to date COVID-19 vaccination certificate (min 3).
- Open to having the influenza vaccination.

Pay: $32.18 - $37.39 per hour
