**About us**

KurrawongAI is a small, Australian-based technology consultancy that utilises Semantic Web and Knowledge Graph principles to assist organisations to take control of their data. Our solutions use data modeling, data governance and data systems implementation expertise, typically across research, spatial, resources, environmental and GLAM (Galleries, Libraries & Museums) data domains. Our clients range across State, Federal and International government bodies, research institutions as well as industry. We are currently working on some systems of national importance, including fundamental spatial and environmental datasets.

Our team is primarily based from Brisbane, Queensland, but we operate as a flexible virtual office and have team members around Australia. Currently our team has seven staff and a couple of additional contractors. We also partner with other Australian IT and data management companies and institutions on occasion to best suit a project or client needs.

**The role**

Due to our growing team, we are seeking a Business Support Coordinator who can assist with business operations and project coordination. You will need to be available for a minimum of two days a week, but we are able to offer up to full-time hours to the right person. If this role is full time there will be greater expectation that you are able to assist with project based activities and coordination.

As we are a remote work environment, you must be able to operate and work well independently from your own home, however we can assist and support you in setting up your home office. Ideally you will be located in or around Brisbane. While there is some flexibility with location, there is also an expectation that you would be available for in person meetings within Brisbane as required.

This role offers an opportunity for a collaborative and self-driven individual to be part of a growing team that provides flexible and supportive work arrangements.

**Key responsibilities**

This role is a new position within our organisation, and there is significant opportunity for growth for the right person. Primarily we are seeking for assistance to:

- Develop content for responses to work bids and tenders,
- Maintain records of current clients, projects and systems,
- Arrange company events and staff travel arrangements,
- Manage and respond to queries received by the business,
- Ensure that online content (business website and documentation) is managed and updated as necessary,
- Maintain up-t0-date profiles for the business with Australian National and State tendering sites, reviewing regularly for potential work,
- Process company payroll and invoicing,
- Process expense claims and leave arrangements for the team,
- Review and develop internal business tools, processes and documentation, and,
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide administrative support for project management and delivery.

**Criteria**

**Mandatory**
- 2+ years experience in a similar role with Business Support or Administration responsibilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively with mínimal direction and to competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to meet with clients in-person or virtually, and to meet in person with the team in Brisbane regularly.

**Desirable**
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Management.
- Project delivery and administration experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
