**About the role**
The Program and Engagement Manager role has accountability for leading and managing the Library Program and Engagement team and creating meaningful, high-quality experiences to the library’s customers. This role is a key people leader role and as part of the Library Leadership Team contributes to policy, planning and shaping the future direction of library services.
On a daily basis you will:
- Lead and manage the Program and Engagement Team to ensure high-standard library programs are provided by the library that meet financial and business performance criteria.
- Liaise and manage relationships with a key stakeholders and partners, both internal and external.
- Be an active member of the Library Leadership Team.
**About You**
You will also bring:
- Degree qualification in Librarianship, Business Management, Community Cultural Development (or related discipline).
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing, researching and analysing quantitative and qualitative data and trends, and integrating with social, cultural, environmental and place information within a strategic planning, economic and visitor context.
- Extensive experience in leading diverse, multiskilled and high performing teams to ensure services are delivered to a high standard to meet financial and other business performance criteria.
- Extensive experience in the curation, planning and innovative delivery of programming activities, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in the delivery to achieve positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in designing user-centric programming experiences, including digital user experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience developing and delivering strategy, policy and framework in a government context.
- Exceptional ability to communicate, negotiate, build relationships and influence others with an engaging approach and technique.
- Analytical approach to interpreting data and communicating insights.
- Advanced problem solving and decision-making ability, including confidence in working with leaders to resolve high priority, and often sensitive and complex issues and conflict.
- Highly advanced change management leadership within a highly complex stakeholder environment.

We are offering an attractive remuneration package ranging from $125,996.69 to $138,699.50 plus 11.5% Super
