**How will I help?**

As the Portfolio Engagement Manager, you will be part of the Business Engagement Team in Portfolio and Governance within the Portfolio and Delivery Function in Cash and Transactional Banking Operations; where you will complete business analysis and portfolio management activities on new and existing projects and change items. This is an exciting opportunity for you to combine your organisational and problem-solving skills, influencing and negotiating abilities as well as your technical skillset to ensure that programs / projects are delivering capabilities and benefits in line with agreed business case.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Engage with projects, internal and external stakeholders to complete high level rapid impact assessments on new change items through appropriate stakeholder engagement.
- Manage the front door function for all new projects and change items.
- Identify and escalate impacts and risks to people, processes, and systems.
- Assist with reporting requirements on the Change Portfolio, which includes but may not be limited to the Executive Leadership Team and the Cash and Transactional Banking Line of Business.
- Assist with Quality Assurance to ensure that all project/change governance frameworks are adhered to in the Business Engagement, Change Delivery and potentially other functions of Portfolio and Delivery.
- Provide insights on quality and delivery issues identified through the reviews and engagements with the programs and projects.
- Ensure project related risk (both project and operations) is within desired levels and that risks are managed according to agreed risk frameworks (Refer Operational Risk in Projects (ORiP).
- Manage the timely completion of projects - through defining and sequencing activities, effective estimation of resourcing effort and durations as part of the rapid impact assessment and assist Change Delivery.
- Draw out insights and trends that develop meaningful portfolio trends, insights, and reporting.
- Optimise resource costs by providing insights and identifying waste within the Project Operating model as part of the rapid impact assessment.

**What do I need?**
- 1-3 years of portfolio management, business process improvement, data analysis, system functional and non-functional analysis experience.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- An understanding of technology and business systems strategically and operationally.
- PMBOK,BABOK,LEAN accreditation is desirable.
- Organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work in a team dynamic and autonomously.
- Financial industry experience.
- Exposure to a PMO or Portfolio Management function.
