Our client is a family-owned Australian Company with many years experience in handling ISO tank Containers and Road Tankers providing a cleaning service to the Shipping and Container Industry.

**We are seeking an experienced Trade Assistant to join their team in a hands on Leading Hand position located at their industrial wash bay in Acacia Ridge.**

**Ongoing day shift, Mon - Fri $33/hr.**

**Forklift licence and/or welding skills will be considered highly advantageous**

This role will commence as a casual with opportunity for the successful applicant to be promoted to fulltime after 3 month continuous probation period.

**You would be responsible for overseeing and assisting with welding repairs, the movement of containers, general maintenance and housekeeping of the yard.**

**Your Duties**:

- Supervision of staff on site
- ISO tank & container cleaning
- Basic patch repair and welding
- Yard labour required

**IMPORTANT: You must not be afraid of heights**

About you:

- Previous TA & Supervisory experience
- Not afraid to get in and get dirty
- Good communication skills
- Work well in a team
- Strong safety focus
- Reliable and pride in your work

**Experience working within a Container Yard environment is desirable but not essential.**
