
Indigenous Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will be required to lead, provide direction, motivation, communication and strategy to the Business within our Uniforms Health Division. Ensuring sales targets, profit targets, contract compliance and divisional objectives, through successful implementation of effective sales/project strategy and establishment/maintenance of appropriate sales performance and S&OP disciplines are maintained.
This position is a 12 month full time fixed contract position.
**What you'll be doing**
- Responsible for achieving / exceeding sales budgets & GM
- Maintain key account SLA's.
- Develop close professional relationships with key clients/customers
- Manage and direct all activities in the day to day operations of respective Chanel/customer group
- Resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently
- Manage/deliver client compliance to contract/database
- Develop organic business pipeline with allocated clients and prioritise opportunities
- Prepare & implement activity designed to increase sales and/or market share - organic growth & promotional activity.
- Support with preparation of tenders with New Business team
- Pricing strategy, analysis & negotiation across team client set
- Oversee Team's Customer Communication, Masterfile, Pricing File, Entitlement Management updates
- Prepare sales budgets, monitor performance to date and amend sales forecasts as required
- Oversee DIFOT, backorders, despatch schedules
- Oversee new/ Majors contract implementation/project plan management within Professional Services Channel
- Management of Slow-Moving Obsolete stock with effective communication to client and agreements in place for stock buy-out
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key customers, internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with Head of Sales - Uniforms prepare annual budget by client
- Assist in the preparation of expenditure budgets for advertising, travel and other related expenditure
- Monitor sales and expenses to ensure they are aligned with budgets
- Seek direction for key client strategies, presentations and negotiations.
- Lead teams driving WWG visions, values and strategic objectives
- Ensure that teams are exposed to training opportunities and to suppliers to improve their capabilities
- Establish clear lines of responsibility within the team and drive accountability
- Facilitate relationship building cross functionally particularly with sourcing and quality teams
**What we're looking for**
- You will be highly commercial and possess strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Along with your business acumen, you will have:
- Minimum 5 years in similar role
- Extensive and successful experience in sales management or major accounts management
- Business to Business or Business to Government selling and servicing.
- Experience in leading, motivating, coaching and performance managing, a team
- Knowledge of Workplace Occupational Health and Safety issues
- Being able to work effectively in a high pressured fast paced environment with multiple competing demands
- Selling and negotiation / Time Management
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Presentation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral / written communication skills
- Organisational and planning skills
- Available for travel
