Due to expansion, we have a vacancy for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join the team here at Elba Kitchens. The purchasing officer will have responsibility for the procurement of raw materials, finished goods, and facilities maintenance services.To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following attributes:Numerical and administrative skills for accurate order processing, supplier evaluation and technical data entry
IT Skills - user ability with M/S Office suite of products & internet use
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role with negotiation skills
Working knowledge of the departments within the business
Qualifications or previous experience in manufacturing/kitchens would be an advantage but are not required
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work within a team environment
Outgoing and approachable personality with excellent rapport and people skills
Self-starter/autonomy
Demonstrated willingness to operate in a variety of capacities as required by business need
Confident telephone manner
A positive approach to change
A professional and reliable approach

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
