**About the Role...**

We are looking for a full time Accounts Payable Manager to be based in our Head Office at Eastern Creek.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing leadership to the Accounts Payable Team regarding compliance with approved policies and procedures, allocation of workload and escalated issues.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager include:

- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Manage and ensure an accurate vendor master file. Ensure new accounts are set up in line with Alspec timeline and guidelines.
- Managing the schedule for payment of vendors and ensuring payment is received for outstanding
- Continuous process improvement approach for the Procure to Payment process.
- Ensure that the Accounts Payable team meets it’s agreed on-time payment targets.
- Provide and ensure prompt and courteous responses to vendor enquiries.
- Ensure all payables are processed accurately, on time, in accordance with Alspec policy and complying with accounting standards.
- Assists vendors, employees, and suppliers in a prompt and effective manner while following company policies and procedures.
- Develop employees by providing constructive feedback about performance.

This is an extremely busy role and requires someone who thrives on working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

You have great interpersonal skills and have had significant experience in a similar role in the past.

Skills / Experience
- A customer solution focus to servicing all creditor
- Strong computer and systems Advantage having previous exposure to Dynamics 365/ ReadSoft/ XFlow
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Business Partnering Skills to achieve outcomes required for process improvements (e.g. Finance Team, Procurement Team, Inventory Controllers, Suppliers, etc)
- Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Experience with Inventory Suppliers and Warehouse workflow (GRNI)
- Experience in managing Import/Landed Cost Vendors.

You will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and must have contactable work references.
