An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Office Assistant to join our Eastern Creek team.
This is a newly created, permanent full-time position reporting to the Asset Manager.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced office worker who can thrive in a dynamic and customer-service focussed environment. This position will play a role in assisting the Asset and Purchasing Departments to achieve productivity and efficiency objectives. The role will also involve communication with various members of our Head Office personnel branch network.
Main Responsibilities/Duties
- General office administration work and filing
- Equipment registrations
- Stock orders and transfers
- Raising PO’s
- Reconciling invoices
- Keeping the office clean, tidy and well organised
- Other appropriate duties as required/directed by the Department Manager (or authorised delegate)
The success applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role (in an industrial environment)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be structured in the approach to work
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook suite
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Punctual and reliable
- Demonstrate strong team loyalty
- Work collaboratively with various internal Stakeholders to achieve desired results
- Strong phone and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Sense of urgency and follow-up in responding to our customers
