This role is based in Greenbushes in the South-West of Western Australia.

**About the Role**

As Talison’s Community Relations Officer you will consult and collaborate with community, local government and

industry associations to develop and deliver programs and activities that are targeted, sustainable and make a

positive difference to the lives of people in our local community.

Reporting to the **Community Relations Advisor**, you will play an integral role in promoting the Talison brand,

engaging the public including internal and external stakeholders, and establishing relationships with key

stakeholders.***

**Responsibilities include**:

- building trusted relationships with community and other stakeholders to understand their needs and

expectations;
- developing and implementing creative engagement plans for Talison projects including Open Days, public

displays, information sessions and other events;
- day to day coordination of the Talison Social Investment Program;
- administrative support for the Stakeholder Engagement Team;
- assisting with the delivery of the Community Relations and Stakeholder Engagement Business Plan and

Budget including monthly and annual reporting;
- coordination of School and Community visits to site;
- development of cross sector partnerships; and
- delivery of special projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
- qualifications in Community Development or Stakeholder Engagement (desirable);***
- demonstrated and well-developed verbal and written communication skills;
- ability to plan, set priorities and meet deadlines;
- skills to exercise initiative and handle confidential and sensitive matters appropriately;
- flexibility to work autonomously or as part of a multi-discipline team;
- ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver Talison initiatives;
- proficiency in preparing budgets and project plans with skills in Microsoft Word and Excel; and
- Prior experience in events management.
