**Your New Role**

**Responsibilities**:

Switchboard Management:_**
- Efficiently handle incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate departments, and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour while assisting callers.

Inbox Management:_**
- Address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide accurate information.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless communication.

**_
Cashiering_**:

- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain proper records.
- Provide receipts and assist with any billing-related queries.

Community Interaction:_**
- Act as the first point of contact for residents and visitors.
- Listen actively, empathize, and provide effective solutions.
- Build strong relationships with the community to enhance their overall experience.

Feedback and Improvement:_**
- Relay community feedback to relevant departments for continuous improvement.
- Identify trends and suggest enhancements to our services.

**What you will need to succeed**
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in customer service within a local government organisation is highly desirable
