The Opportunity:
Join us at Toll Group's Retail Fulfilment Centre in Prestons as a Technical Optimisation Manager and be part of an exciting journey towards operational excellence and innovation. Our cutting-edge facility boasts an advanced automated system, integrating state-of-the-art components such as shuttles, conveyors, and automated guided vehicles, ensuring seamless product storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch.

A day in the life of a Technical Optimisation Manager at Toll Group:- Lead and mentor operations teams to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of our cutting-edge automation system.- Identify and swiftly resolve system faults, collaborating closely with vendors to maintain uninterrupted operations.- Unlock valuable business insights through in-depth analysis of technical data, driving strategic decision-making.- Lead the charge in system troubleshooting, integration, and testing, ensuring flawless performance at every stage.- Engage with customers to tailor system configurations to their exact needs, while providing proactive oversight and feedback, and championing continuous improvement initiatives for a dynamic and rewarding role.- Manage the financial responsibilities of the automation service team and spare part replacements.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Tertiary qualifications in Auto Electrics/ Electrical, Mechanic/Mechanical, industrial electronics or similar preferred.- An analytical approach to process optimisation and problem solving.- A strong customer focus commitment to safety.- Excellent communication skills across a broad range of disciplines both oral and written.- CI, Process optimization, and project management skills.- Ability to build strong relationships and work within a team environment.
